Facebook eyes Indian techies

Following the most sought after recruitment trends across the globe in reference to hiring Indians for highly skilled technical jobs and similar roles, Facebook, the most popular networking entity across the globe, has been among the stand out players amidst numerous others this season, which is seen recruiting professionals from top B-schools and engineering colleges in India.




The season set off as the networking enterprise started its recruitment drive at IIT Madras where as many as 13 profiles, which had earlier been short listed after clearing written examination, were interviewed. Because of the variation in the times zones, the interview process was required to be stretched over multiple days. The screening procedure was purely carried out via Skype, using its internet voice protocol service. The students were questioned using mega computer screens procured by the campus officials.

All the positions reportedly are US based and the entity has been quite extravagant with the pay packets offered to the selected profiles.

Facebook, with its huge popularity and global spread at a rapid pace has already been making news for a considerable while now. With this move, Facebook users, who were until now, only restricted to use its services, will now be able to inch another step closer and this time around, making inroads to its internal operations
